The scope of this book is to examine the developments, production, modification and procurement of the M-1 Helmet and its various components as produced during the period between 1941 and 1945. Previously little, if any, text has been written and published in the United States has amounted to no more than one or two pages, and often these accounts do not provide much information on the subject. ...!
