Several years ago I was contacted by Dr. Borsarello of Paris to consider a joint effort in producing a book on German Camouflage. Having been already engaged in another related project, it seemed like an excellent suggestion. My colleague's proposal was a comprehensive work on all the different branches of service. While this was the initial concept, I have subsequently modified the objective to concentrate on Waffen-SS camouflage uniforms. ...."
